A wire rope electric hoist is a small lifting device featuring a compact structure, light weight, small size, and easy operation. It can be installed standalone on an I-beam or as an accessory for electric or manual single-beam, double-beam, jib, and gantry cranes. As a critical component, preventing wire rope fatigue can extend the service life of the electric wire rope hoist. Below are some brief measures to prevent wire rope fatigue:
1. Where possible, increase the diameter of the drum and pulley.
2. When replacing a new rope, adhere to the "up-in, up-out, down-in, down-out" principle to minimize reverse bending of the wire rope.
3. Whenever possible, choose a thicker wire rope with surface contact.
